1 tbsp brown sugar or honey

1.5 cups jasmine rice

3 cups water or chicken broth

Pinch of salt

🍚 Cook the Jasmine Rice:
Rinse jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear.

In a pot, combine rice, water (or broth), and a pinch of salt.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, then let it sit off heat (covered) for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork before serving.
