Creamy Garlic Steak and Shrimp 🥩🍤
A luxurious, restaurant-style dish with tender steak bites, succulent shrimp, and a rich, creamy garlic sauce. Perfect for a special dinner!
Ingredients:
For the Steak and Shrimp:
• 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
• 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
• Salt and black pepper, to taste
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 2 tbsp butter
• 4 cloves garlic, minced
• 1/2 cup chicken or beef broth
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 1 tsp Italian seasoning
• Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
1️⃣ Cook the Steak:
• Season the steak pieces with salt and black pepper.
• In a large skillet, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil over medium-high heat.
• Add the steak pieces and sear for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
2️⃣ Cook the Shrimp:
• In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and the butter.
• Once the butter has melted, add the shrimp, season with salt and black pepper, and cook for about 2-3 minutes until the shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
3️⃣ Make the Creamy Sauce:
• In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
• Pour in the chicken or beef broth, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
• Reduce the heat to low, then stir in the heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, stirring continuously until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
4️⃣ Combine Ingredients:
• Add the cooked steak and shrimp back into the skillet with the creamy sauce. Stir well to coat everything in the sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
5️⃣ Serve:
• Serve the creamy garlic steak and shrimp over cooked pasta, rice, or a bed of sautéed vegetables.
• Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Tips:
• For extra flavor, add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes for a bit of heat.
• Pair with garlic bread or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
