Cajun Honey Butter Salmon
Ingredients:
4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
3 tablespoons honey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Fresh parsley and lemon wedges for garnish
Directions:
Pat salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Rub each fillet with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Remove and set aside.
In the same pan, reduce heat to medium. Add butter, honey, garlic, lemon juice, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes. Stir continuously for 1-2 minutes until melted and bubbly.
Return the salmon to the pan, spooning the honey butter sauce over the fillets. Let cook for another 2 minutes until the salmon is coated and glistening.
Remove from heat, garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges. Serve immediately with rice or roasted vegetables.
