🥤 Creamy Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie 🍌
Ingredients:
2 medium ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
2 tbsp creamy peanut butter (or almond butter for a twist)
1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of choice)
½ cup plain Greek yogurt (for added creaminess and protein)
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)
½ tsp ground cinnamon
1 cup ice cubes
Instructions:
Prepare the Ingredients: Slice the bananas into chunks and measure out all the ingredients for easy blending. If you prefer a colder smoothie, freeze the banana slices beforehand.
Blend the Base: In a high-speed blender, combine the banana slices, peanut butter, almond milk, Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, and cinnamon. Blend on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Adjust Sweetness: Taste the smoothie and add honey or maple syrup if desired. Blend again briefly to incorporate.
Add Ice: Toss in the ice cubes and blend until the smoothie reaches your preferred consistency. For a thicker texture, add a few more ice cubes; for a thinner consistency, splash in a little more milk.
Serve Immediately: Pour the smoothie into tall glasses and serve right away for the freshest flavor. Optionally, garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or a drizzle of peanut butter on top.
