Stuffed Cabbage Rolls – Comfort food at its best! 🥬🍲
Ingredients:
1 head green cabbage
1 lb (450g) ground beef
½ cup cooked rice
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 egg
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 cup beef broth
Directions:
1. Prepare cabbage: Boil whole cabbage for 5 minutes until leaves soften. Peel off 12 large leaves and trim thick stems.
2. Make filling: In a bowl, mix ground beef, rice, onion, garlic, egg, salt, pepper, and paprika.
3. Stuff and roll: Place a spoonful of filling in each cabbage leaf, roll tightly, and tuck in edges.
4. Prepare sauce: In a pot, mix tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth.
5. Cook: Place cabbage rolls in a baking dish or pot, pour sauce over them, cover, and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour (or simmer on the stove for 45 minutes).
6. Serve: Enjoy warm with extra sauce!
