Spicy Salmon Poke Bowl with Creamy Sesame Sauce 🍣
Ingredients:
For the Poke Bowl:
1 lb salmon, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
For the Creamy Sesame Sauce:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
For the Bowl:
1 cup cooked rice
1 avocado, sliced
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
Instructions:
Make the Salmon: In a bowl, combine salmon with soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator).
Sear the Salmon: Sear the salmon in a hot skillet for 1-2 minutes per side, or until lightly browned and cooked to your liking.
Make the Creamy Sesame Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, salt, and pepper.
Assemble the Bowls: Arrange rice in bowls. Top with seared salmon, avocado, green onions, and cilantro. Drizzle with Creamy Sesame Sauce.
