A multi-layer dessert made of:
1 A chocolate cookie crust
2 A fudge layer
3 A light chocolate mousse or whipped cream
4 Ganache topping
5 Optional crushed cookies or chocolate curls on top
π Ingredients:
Crust:
β’ 2 cups crushed chocolate cookies (Oreos with filling removed, or chocolate grahams)
β’ Β½ cup melted butter
Fudge Layer:
β’ 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
β’ 1 Β½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
β’ 1 tsp vanilla extract
β’ Pinch of salt
Chocolate Mousse Layer:
β’ 1 cup heavy whipping cream
β’ Β½ cup powdered sugar
β’ ΒΌ cup cocoa powder
β’ Β½ tsp vanilla extract
(Or use 1 tub of chocolate Cool Whip for a shortcut)
Ganache Topping:
β’ ΒΎ cup heavy cream
β’ ΒΎ cup chocolate chips
Optional Toppings:
β’ Chocolate curls
β’ Crushed cookies
β’ Mini chocolate chips
β’ Sea salt flakes
π΄ Instructions:
1. Make the Crust:
β’ Mix cookie crumbs and melted butter.
β’ Press into the bottom of an 8x8" pan or pie dish.
β’ Chill in fridge for 15β20 minutes to set.
2. Fudge Layer:
β’ In a saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips with sweetened condensed milk.
β’ Stir until smooth and thick.
β’ Add vanilla and a pinch of salt.
β’ Spread evenly over the crust. Let it cool slightly, then chill in the fridge for 15β30 minutes.
3. Chocolate Mousse Layer:
β’ Whip the heavy cream until it begins to thicken.
β’ Add powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla.
β’ Beat until stiff peaks form.
β’ Spread gently over the chilled fudge layer.
4. Ganache Topping:
β’ Heat cream until just simmering.
β’ Pour over chocolate chips in a bowl. Let sit for 2β3 minutes.
β’ Stir until smooth.
β’ Pour over mousse layer and gently spread.
5. Chill & Serve:
β’ Chill the entire dessert for at least 4 hours (overnight is best).
β’ Garnish before serving.

β’ Use a fudgy brownie base instead of cookie crust.
β’ Then layer with ganache and whipped cream or mousse.
