Ingredients
Beef strips (flank or sirloin)
Red, yellow & green bell peppers, sliced
Garlic, minced
Soy sauce
Hoisin sauce or oyster sauce
Cornstarch
Black pepper
Sesame oil or cooking oil
Optional: chili flakes or fresh ginger
Instructions:
Toss the beef strips with a little cornstarch and black pepper. Heat oil in a pan or wok, stir-fry garlic briefly, then add beef and cook until browned. Add the bell peppers and stir-fry until just tender. Pour in soy sauce and hoisin sauce, stir to coat everything in the glossy sauce. Serve hot with rice or noodles for a perfect weeknight dinner!
