Slow-Cooker Beef Stroganoff
Ingredients:
1 kg beef chuck or stewing beef, cut into strips
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
200g mushrooms, sliced
1 cup beef broth
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 cup sour cream
2 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)
Cooked egg noodles or rice, for serving
Instructions:
Place beef, onion, garlic, mushrooms, broth, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, paprika, salt, and pepper in a slow cooker.
Cover and cook on low for 7–8 hours or on high for 4–5 hours, until beef is tender.
Stir in cornstarch slurry if a thicker sauce is desired. Cook for an additional 15 minutes.
Stir in sour cream just before serving.
Serve over egg noodles or rice.
