Southern BBQ Pulled Pork
Ingredients:
- 3 lbs pork shoulder
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
1. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
2. Rub the seasoning mixture all over the pork shoulder.
3. Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker and pour the BBQ sauce over the top.
4. Cook on low for 8 hours, until the pork is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
5. Use two forks to shred the pork in the slow cooker, mixing it with the BBQ sauce.
6. Serve the pulled pork on sandwich buns or over rice for a delicious meal
