Leftover ham is the best way to make this fried rice!
1. HAM & EGG Fried Rice
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons oil
1 1/2 cup fried diced ham
4 cloves minced garlic
1/2 onion diced
2 eggs, slightly beaten
3 cups cooked rice (I prefer 1 day old- refrigerated rice)
1 tsp sesame oil
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup green onion
Easy Steps:
On medium heat, add the oil in a large pan. Fried the ham and set aside. Add eggs, fried then set aside. Saute onion and garlic till fragrant. Now add the rice and blend all together well. Stir fry until thoroughly heated. Add back the fried ham and eggs. Mix well. Add ground black pepper to taste. Garnish some green onions. Enjoy!
2. Egg and Veggies Fried Rice
Ingredients:
3 cups cooked white rice (I prefer 1 day old -refrigerated rice)
2 tablespoons oil
1 cup frozen peas and carrots (thawed)
1 onion, chopped
1 tablespoon minced garlic (about 3 cloves)
2 eggs, slightly beaten
3 tablespoons soy sauce
Ground black pepper to taste
Easy Steps:
On medium heat, add the oil in a large pan. Fried the eggs, then set aside. Saute onion and garlic till fragrant. Add peas and Stir fry until tender. Lower the heat to medium low. Now add the rice and soy sauce and blend all together well. Stir fry until thoroughly heated. Add back the fried eggs. Mix well. Add ground black pepper to taste. Garnish green onions. Ready to serve. Enjoy!
