๐งพ Ingredients:
For the steak:
2 beef steaks (sirloin or ribeye), room temperature
2 tbsp butter ๐ง
2 garlic cloves, smashed
Salt & black pepper to taste
Fresh thyme or rosemary (optional) ๐ฟ
For the rice:
1 cup basmati or jasmine rice
2 cups water
Salt to taste
For the tomato salad:
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved ๐
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp balsamic vinegar or lemon juice ๐
Salt & pepper
Fresh parsley or basil, chopped
๐จโ๐ณ Instructions:
Cook the rice: Rinse rice and bring to a boil with salted water. Simmer covered on low heat for about 12 minutes or until fluffy.
Prepare the steak: Season steaks with salt and pepper. In a hot pan, melt butter with garlic and herbs. Sear steak 2โ3 mins per side (for medium rare) and baste with garlic butter.
Tomato salad: Toss cherry tomatoes with olive oil, vinegar or lemon juice, salt, pepper, and herbs.
Serve: Plate steak slices with rice and tomato salad. Drizzle extra butter from the pan over the steak if desired.

Let the steak rest 5 minutes before slicing for maximum juiciness.
Add chili flakes to the salad for a spicy kick!
