Honey Garlic Glazed Shrimp 🍯🦐
Sticky, sweet, and bursting with garlicky goodness!
📝 Ingredients:
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup honey
2 tbsp soy sauce (low-sodium if preferred)
1 tbsp rice vinegar or lemon juice
1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
1 tbsp chopped fresh chives or parsley
Salt & black pepper, to taste
🍽️ Directions:
1️⃣ Prep the Shrimp:
Pat shrimp dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.
2️⃣ Sear the Shrimp:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and slightly crisp. Remove and set aside.
3️⃣ Make the Glaze:
In the same skillet, melt butter and add garlic. Sauté until fragrant. Stir in honey, soy sauce, vinegar (or lemon juice), and red pepper flakes. Simmer until slightly thickened.
4️⃣ Glaze the Shrimp:
Return shrimp to the skillet and toss in the glaze until fully coated and heated through (about 1–2 minutes).
5️⃣ Finish & Serve:
Garnish with chopped chives or parsley. Serve hot over rice, noodles, or with crusty bread.
