A simple yet elegant dish featuring perfectly seared salmon fillets seasoned with a blend of herbs and spices, served alongside sautΓ©ed green beans and fluffy white rice. Healthy and delicious! π
π Ingredients:
For the Salmon:
4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or 1/2 tsp dried dill)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp paprika
Salt & black pepper to taste
1 tbsp lemon juice (for serving)
For the Green Beans:
1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt & black pepper to taste
For the Rice:
1 cup jasmine or basmati rice, cooked according to package instructions
π₯ Instructions:
Prepare the Salmon:
In a small bowl, combine melted butter, parsley, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
Rub the seasoning mixture over the salmon fillets.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear the salmon fillets for 4β5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
Squeeze lemon juice over the cooked salmon before serving.
Prepare the Green Beans:
Heat olive oil in a separate skillet over medium heat.
Add onions and sautΓ© until translucent, about 4 minutes.
Add garlic and cook for another minute.
Add green beans, season with salt and black pepper, and sautΓ© for 6β8 minutes until tender-crisp.
Serve & Garnish:
Serve the salmon fillets with sautΓ©ed green beans and cooked rice.
Garnish with extra parsley if desired.
