Homestyle Beef and Mushroom Gravy Bake
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a baking dish.
2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until softened.
3. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
4. Spread the cooked rice in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Pour the beef and mushroom gravy mixture over the rice.
5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
