Sesame Rice Balls #buchi
Made from sweet rice flour and filled with red beans paste. Always great snacks to start the New Year.
Ingredients:
2 cups glutinous rice flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup water plus extra (adjust water to make a dough)
Mix well and form a dough. Divide into 16 parts.
Filling:
Red beans paste
Garnish: sesame seeds in a bowl
Frying: oil
Roll each dough and flatten it. Add 1 teaspoon of filling. Bring the dough together to seal it and form into round balls. Roll each balls into the sesame seeds. Set aside. Repeat the process.
In a large pan add oil for deep frying. Once medium heat, fry each sesame balls until golden brown. Enjoy!
