Lemon Butter Fish Fillet Recipe
Ingredients:
4 fish fillets (such as tilapia, cod, or haddock)
1/4 cup unsalted butter
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Directions:
Begin by melting the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to let it brown.
Next, stir in the lemon juice and lemon zest, mixing well to combine. Season the fish fillets with salt and pepper on both sides, then gently place them in the skillet. Cook the fillets for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and easily flake with a fork.
Once the fish is done, remove it from the skillet and transfer it to a serving plate. Drizzle the lemon butter sauce from the skillet over the top of the fish.
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and added flavor. Serve immediately with your choice of sides, such as steamed vegetables or rice.
