Church spread is a beautiful, silky combination of peanut butter and marshmallow creme. you don't need jam as this spread is already sweet. TOften served at after-church services, the addition of marshmallow cream and sweeteners makes it a special treat associated withthe Amish church and community life.

AMISH CHURCH SPREAD
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup water
1 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
1 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup marshmallow creme (Fluff)
1 tsp. vanilla
biscuits, English muffins, soft white bread, or toast for spread
Combine sugar, water and butter in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, mix in corn syrup, then bring to a simmer over low heat. Cook for 1-2 minutes, then remove from heat.
Stir in peanut butter and marshmallow creme, then mix in vanilla Stir until just incorporated. Let mixture cool and transfer to an air-tight container to store in the fridge. A mason jar works well.
Use on biscuits, English muffins, soft white bread, bagels or toast.
