๐งพ Ingredients:
For the chicken stir-fry:
2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces ๐
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
2 garlic cloves, minced ๐ง
1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
1 tbsp honey or brown sugar ๐ฏ
1 tbsp cornstarch
2 tbsp oil (vegetable or sesame)
Salt & pepper to taste
Fresh parsley or spring onions, chopped (for garnish)
For the rice:
1 cup jasmine or basmati rice
2 cups water
Pinch of salt
๐จโ๐ณ Instructions:
Cook the rice in salted water until fluffy and set aside. Meanwhile, toss chicken in cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Heat oil in a pan, cook the chicken until golden brown, then remove. In the same pan, sautรฉ garlic, ginger, and bell peppers for 3โ4 minutes. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and honey; return chicken to the pan and stir until coated in the glossy sauce. Simmer for a couple of minutes until thickened. Serve over hot rice and garnish with chopped herbs.
