Savor the Taste of India: Classic Grilled Tandoori Chicken
Ingredients:
500g chicken breast or thighs, cut into cubes
1 cup plain yogurt
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp tandoori masala
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp chili powder
1 garlic clove, minced
1-inch ginger, grated
Salt to taste
Directions:
In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, tandoori masala, turmeric, garam masala, cumin, chili powder, garlic, ginger, and salt.
Add chicken cubes to the marinade and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for maximum flavor.
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and thread chicken onto skewers.
Grill the chicken for 6-8 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and lightly charred.
Serve with naan or rice and garnish with fresh cilantro and lime wedges.
