Ingredients
For the chicken marinade:

For the rice:
๐Ÿš Basmati rice: 300g, rinsed and soaked for 30 minutes

๐ŸŒฟ Bay leaf: 1
๐ŸŒฐ Cinnamon stick: 1 small piece
๐ŸŒฟ Cloves: 3
๐ŸŒฟ Cardamom pods: 3

For the biryani base:
๐Ÿงˆ Ghee: 2 tbsp
๐Ÿง… Onions: 2 large, thinly sliced
๐Ÿ… Tomatoes: 2 medium, chopped
๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Green chillies: 2, slit
๐Ÿฅ„ Garam masala: 1 tsp
๐Ÿง‚ Salt: to taste
๐ŸŒฟ Fresh coriander: 2 tbsp, chopped
๐ŸŒฟ Fresh mint leaves: 1 tbsp, chopped

Method
๐Ÿ‹ Marinate the chicken: Combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl. Mix well, ensuring the chicken is evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for deeper flavour).
