Pork Chop Steak with Onions
Recipe:
2 pounds pork chip chops
5 cloves garlic minced
1 red onion- diced
1 red onion - sliced in rings
2 cups beef broth
1 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoons water plus 1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Salt to taste
3 tablespoons oil to fry
Marinade:
1/3 cup soy sauce
1 lemon- juice
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
Mix the marinade ingredients and let the pork chops marinade for at least 1 hr.
Steps:
In a pan, add 2 tablespoons of oil and fry the pork chops until golden brown on each side. Remove from the pan and set aside. In the same pan, add 1 tablespoon oil and saute the diced onion and garlic. Add the fried pork chops. Add the marinade leftover if any. Add the beef broth. Let it boil and simmer in low heat until the meat becomes tender. Add sugar, black pepper and cornstarch slurry. Add slices of onion rings. Mix well and let it cooked for another 2-3 minutes. Taste and transfer to a serving plate with rice or pasta. Enjoy!
