Ingredients:
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
10 oz mini marshmallows
1/4 cup unsalted butter
1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp vanilla extract
1-2 drops orange food coloring (optional for a festive look)
White chocolate chips or melted white chocolate for drizzle (optional)
Pumpkin-shaped candy or sprinkles for decoration (optional)
Directions:
Prepare the Marshmallow Mixture:
In a large pot, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted and smooth. Stir in the pumpkin pie spice and vanilla extract, mixing well. If youβre using orange food coloring, add it now and stir until the color is evenly distributed.
Mix in the Cereal:
Remove the pot from heat and quickly add the Rice Krispies cereal, stirring until the cereal is fully coated with the marshmallow mixture.
Shape the Treats:
Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish or line it with parchment paper. Press the mixture into the pan, using a greased spatula or wax paper to press it down evenly.
Cool and Decorate:
Let the treats cool for 30 minutes. If desired, drizzle melted white chocolate over the top and add pumpkin-shaped candy or festive sprinkles for decoration.
Serve:
