🍗 Crockpot Chicken with Gravy 🥣
A simple, comforting, and flavorful slow-cooker meal with tender, juicy chicken smothered in rich, creamy gravy. Perfect over mashed potatoes, rice, or biscuits!
🛒 Ingredients:
✔ 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
✔ 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup
✔ 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup (or use another cream of chicken if preferred)
✔ 1 packet chicken gravy mix
✔ 1 cup chicken broth
✔ 1 tsp garlic powder
✔ 1 tsp onion powder
✔ 1 tsp dried thyme (optional, for extra flavor)
✔ Salt & pepper, to taste
✔ ½ cup sour cream (optional, for creamier gravy)
👩🍳 Instructions:
1️⃣ Prepare the Crockpot:
Place chicken in the bottom of the slow cooker.
2️⃣ Make the Gravy Mixture:
In a bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, chicken broth, gravy mix, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt & pepper.
3️⃣ Cook Low & Slow:
Pour the gravy mixture over the chicken.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender and easy to shred.
4️⃣ Shred & Thicken:
Shred the chicken with two forks directly in the crockpot.
Stir in sour cream (if using) for extra creamy gravy.
5️⃣ Serve & Enjoy:
Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, egg noodles, or biscuits!
💡 Tip: Add frozen peas, carrots, or mushrooms in the last hour for a complete meal!
