Tasty and Delicious Barbecue Skewers
Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup light sodium soy sauce
• 1/2 cup lemon juice or lime juice
• 1/2 cup ketchup
• 1/4 cup brown sugar
• 1 tablespoon minced garlic
• 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
• 2 pounds of meat (chicken, beef, or pork), cubed
• Bamboo skewers (soaked in water 30 minutes before grilling)

Instructions:
1. Make the Marinade:
• In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, lemon or lime juice, ketchup, brown sugar, garlic, and black pepper.
2. Marinate the Meat:
• Add the cubed meat to the marinade and coat well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (overnight is even better for flavor).
3. Assemble Skewers:
• Thread the marinated meat onto the soaked bamboo skewers.
4. Grill:
• Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
• Grill skewers for about 10–15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the meat is cooked through and slightly charred.
5. Serve:
• Serve hot with extra sauce for dipping or alongside rice, salad, or grilled veggies.
