CREAMY GARLIC STEAK TIPS OVER PARMESAN RICE
Ingredients:
1.5 lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup long-grain rice
2 cups water or broth (for cooking rice)
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Cook the rice: In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water or broth to a boil. Add the rice, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed. Fluff the rice with a fork and stir in 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese. Set aside.
Season the steak pieces with salt, pepper, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak tips and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the beef broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.
Stir in the heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, and Parmesan cheese, cooking for another 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Return the steak tips to the skillet and toss them in the creamy sauce. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until everything is well coated and heated through.
Serve the creamy garlic steak tips over the Parmesan rice, garnishing with fresh parsley.
