Garlic Butter Shrimp and Broccoli Foil Packs
Ingredients:
- 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 cups of broccoli florets
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: lemon slices for garnish
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. In a small bowl, melt the butter in the microwave. Add the minced garlic, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and stir until well combined.
3. Place the shrimp and broccoli florets on a large sheet of aluminum foil.
4. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the shrimp and broccoli, ensuring everything is well coated.
5. Fold the foil into a packet, sealing it tightly to keep the steam in.
6. Place the foil packet on a baking sheet and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and the broccoli is tender.
7. Carefully open the foil packet (watch out for steam!) and serve immediately. Garnish with lemon slices if desired.
Notes:
For a complete meal, serve with rice or quinoa on the side.
