WOULD YOU EAT THIS TREMENDOUS SIZZLING BLACK PEPPER BEEF STIR-FRY 🥩🌶️🔥
Ingredients:
1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp black pepper, coarsely ground
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 cup beef broth
1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water (for thickening)
2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Steamed rice (for serving)
Instructions:
Prepare the Beef:
Season the sliced beef with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Cook the Beef:
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the beef in a single layer and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned and cooked to your desired level. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
Sauté Vegetables:
In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil. Sauté the sliced onion, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper for 3-4 minutes until they start to soften. Add the minced garlic and ginger, and cook for an additional 1 minute.
Prepare the Sauce:
In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, brown sugar, and beef broth.
Combine and Cook:
Return the beef to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and vegetables. Stir well to coat everything in the sauce. Add the cornstarch mixture and cook for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
Serve:
Garnish with sliced green onions. Serve hot over steamed rice
