For the chicken:
2 large chicken breasts, sliced in half lengthwise ๐
1 tbsp olive oil ๐ซ
Salt & pepper to taste ๐ง
1 tsp garlic powder ๐ง
1/2 tsp smoked paprika ๐ถ๏ธ
For the creamy sauce:
2 tbsp butter ๐ง
2 cloves garlic, minced ๐ง
200ml heavy cream ๐ฅ
1 tsp Dijon mustard ๐ฟ
1/2 tsp lemon juice ๐
1 tbsp chopped parsley ๐ฑ
Salt & black pepper to taste ๐ง
For the rice:
200g rice (about 1 cup), cooked ๐
Salt to taste ๐ง
๐ฉโ๐ณ Instructions:
Season chicken with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Sear in olive oil over medium-high heat until golden and cooked through, about 4โ5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside. In the same pan, melt butter, add garlic and cook for 1 minute. Pour in cream, mustard, and lemon juice. Simmer for 3โ5 minutes until slightly thickened. Stir in parsley and season with salt and pepper. Slice chicken and serve over rice, drizzled with the creamy sauce.
