🛒 Ingredients:
1 lb (450g) beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced 🥩

2 tbsp cornstarch

2 tbsp vegetable oil 🛢️

1 red bell pepper, sliced 🌶️

1 yellow bell pepper, sliced

1 medium onion, chopped 🧅

For the sauce:
1/4 cup soy sauce 🧂

3 tbsp hoisin sauce

2 tbsp brown sugar 🍯

2 tbsp rice vinegar

2 garlic cloves, minced 🧄

1 tsp grated ginger

1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional) 🌶️

1/4 cup water

👩‍🍳 Instructions:
Coat sliced beef with cornstarch and set aside. In a large skillet or wok, heat oil over medium-high heat. Sear beef in batches until crispy and browned. Remove and set aside. In the same pan, stir-fry bell peppers and onion until slightly tender. Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl, pour into the pan, and simmer until thickened. Add the beef back in, toss to coat, and cook for 2–3 minutes until hot and sticky. Serve immediately over steamed rice and garnish with green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
