Gooey Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcakes

Ingredients

For the Cupcakes:

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup milk
½ cup peanut butter cups, chopped

For the Filling:

½ cup creamy peanut butter
½ cup chocolate hazelnut spread (Nutella or similar)

For the Topping:

½ cup white chocolate, melted
½ cup dark chocolate, melted
¼ cup mini peanut butter candies (like Reese's Pieces)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.

Make the Batter: In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk, beating until smooth. Fold in chopped peanut butter cups.

Fill the Cupcake Liners: Fill each liner halfway with batter.
Add the Gooey Filling: Drop a teaspoon of peanut butter and chocolate hazelnut spread into the center of each cupcake. Cover with remaining batter.

Bake: Bake for 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let them cool completely.

Decorate: Drizzle melted white and dark chocolate on top. Sprinkle with mini peanut butter candies.
