Creamy Garlic Butter Shrimp with Rice ❤️

🛒 Ingredients:
250g (½ lb) raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp butter
2 garlic cloves, minced
½ cup heavy cream
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp black pepper
Salt to taste
2 tbsp chopped parsley
1½ cups cooked jasmine or basmati rice
👩🍳 Instructions:
Prepare shrimp: Pat the shrimp dry and season lightly with salt and pepper.
Sauté shrimp: In a skillet, melt 1 tbsp butter over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Make the sauce: Add remaining butter to the pan. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Stir in cream, Parmesan, Dijon mustard (if using), lemon juice, and black pepper.
Simmer: Let the sauce simmer for 3–4 minutes until thickened slightly.
Combine: Return shrimp to the pan and toss in the sauce for 1 minute. Stir in half the parsley.
Serve: Plate with cooked rice and spoon extra sauce on top. Garnish with more parsley and cracked black pepper.
