Garlic Butter Steak and Shrimp with Peppers over Yellow Rice YAY OR NAY!

Ingredients
For the Steak & Shrimp:
1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 tbsp olive oil (divided)
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
Salt & black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
For the Yellow Rice:
2 cups long-grain rice
4 cups chicken broth
1 tbsp olive oil or butter
1 tsp turmeric or saffron
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
Cook the Yellow Rice:
In a saucepan, heat olive oil or butter.
Add rice and toast for 1 minute.
Stir in chicken broth, turmeric (or saffron), garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Cover and cook until rice is fluffy (about 18–20 minutes). Set aside.
Prepare the Steak:
Season steak cubes with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear steak cubes for 2–3 minutes until browned but still tender inside. Remove and set aside.
Cook the Shrimp & Peppers:
In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp olive oil and butter.
Add garlic, red pepper, and green pepper. Sauté 2 minutes.
Add shrimp and cook 2–3 minutes until pink and cooked through.
Combine Everything:
Return steak to the skillet and toss with shrimp and peppers until coated in garlic butter.
Serve:
Plate yellow rice, then top with the steak, shrimp, and peppers.
Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
