🍗 Fricassée de Volaille (Chicken Fricassée) 🍄🥛
A creamy French chicken stew with mushrooms and a delicate white sauce.
Ingredients:
• 600 g chicken pieces
• 150 g mushrooms
• 200 ml cream
• 1 onion
• 1 tbsp butter
• Salt & pepper
Instructions:
1️⃣ Brown chicken pieces in butter until golden. Remove and set aside.
2️⃣ Add sliced onion and mushrooms to the pan, sauté until soft.
3️⃣ Return chicken, season with salt & pepper.
4️⃣ Pour in cream, cover, and simmer for 30–40 minutes.
5️⃣ Adjust seasoning and stir gently.
6️⃣ Serve with rice or buttered noodles.
