🍽️ Cabbage Roll Skillet
🧂 Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 small onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
½ head green cabbage, chopped
1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes (with juice)
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp dried oregano
Salt & pepper to taste
1 cup cooked white rice
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
👨🍳 Directions:
Brown the Beef:
In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and brown the ground beef with onions and garlic until beef is no longer pink. Drain excess grease.
Add Cabbage:
Stir in the chopped cabbage and cook until slightly wilted, about 5 minutes.
Add Tomatoes & Seasoning:
Pour in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and tomato paste. Stir in paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Simmer:
Cover and let simmer for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is tender.
Add Rice:
Stir in the cooked rice and let heat through for about 5 minutes.
Garnish & Serve:
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve warm!
