Sweet and Sour Chicken ππ₯ Easy and delicious!
Ingredients:
2 boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
Β½ cup cornstarch
1 egg, beaten
1 cup bell peppers (red and green), chopped
1 cup pineapple chunks
Β½ onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp vegetable oil
For the sauce:
ΒΌ cup ketchup
ΒΌ cup rice vinegar
ΒΌ cup sugar
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
Directions:
1. Coat chicken pieces in cornstarch, dip in beaten egg, and fry in oil until golden brown. Set aside.
2. In the same pan, sautΓ© garlic, onion, and bell peppers for 2 minutes.
3. Add pineapple and the fried chicken.
4. Mix all sauce ingredients and pour over the chicken. Stir until thickened.
5. Serve hot over rice.
