Oat Bars, Peanut Butter & Honey
Healthy and gourmet energy bars, perfect for a balanced snack or breakfast.

Ingredients (for about 8 bars)
- 200 g of oatmeal
- 100 grams of natural peanut butter
- 80 grams of honey or maple syrup
- 50 g of crushed almonds or nuts
- 1 c. à c. vanilla extract
- 1 pinch of salt
- 50 g dark chocolate chips (optional)
Preparation
1. In a saucepan, heat the peanut butter and honey until a smooth mixture is achieved.
2. Remove from fire and add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Mix it up well.
3. In a salad bowl, mix oatmeal and crushed almonds.
4. Pour the peanut butter and honey mixture over the oatmeal and mix until well coated.
5. Add chocolate chips if desired and mix slightly.
6. Spread the preparation in a rectangular mold covered with baking paper and cup well.
7. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour so bars can harden.
8. Cut into bars and enjoy.
Tip
Add chia seeds or nuts for even more texture and nutritional benefits.
