🛒 Ingredients:

For the Crispy Beef:

500g (1 lb) flank steak or sirloin, thinly sliced into strips 🥩

1/3 cup cornstarch

Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)

For the Sauce:

3 tbsp soy sauce

3 tbsp hoisin sauce

2 tbsp brown sugar

2 tbsp rice vinegar

1 tbsp sesame oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp grated ginger

1/4 cup water

For the Stir-Fry:

1/2 red bell pepper, thinly sliced

1/2 green bell pepper, thinly sliced

1 small onion, sliced

1 tbsp oil

Sesame seeds & green onions (optional, for garnish)

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

Toss beef strips in cornstarch until evenly coated. Heat oil in a pan and fry the beef in batches until golden and crispy, then drain on paper towels. In another pan, heat 1 tbsp oil and stir-fry the peppers and onion for 2–3 minutes until just tender. In a small bowl, mix all sauce ingredients and pour into the pan. Simmer until slightly thickened. Add crispy beef back in, toss to coat in the sauce. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds or green onions if desired.
