Ground Beef Stir Fry
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce (optional)
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ginger, minced
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
1 cup bell peppers, sliced
1 cup broccoli florets
½ cup carrots, julienned
½ cup snap peas (optional)
2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
2 tablespoons water (if using cornstarch)
Cooked rice or noodles, for serving
Directions:
Cook the Beef:
Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease if needed.
Make the Sauce:
In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes.
Sauté the Vegetables:
Add bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, and snap peas to the skillet.
Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until slightly tender but still crisp.
Combine & Simmer:
Pour the sauce over the beef and veggies, stirring to coat everything evenly.
If using cornstarch, mix it with 2 tablespoons water and add it to the skillet. Stir until the sauce thickens.
Serve & Garnish:
Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions.
Serve hot over cooked rice or noodles.
