Sizzling Chinese Pepper Steak with Onions 🥩🌶️
Ingredients:
1 lb flank steak (sliced thin)
2 bell peppers (sliced)
1 large onion (sliced)
3 garlic cloves (minced)
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 cup water
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp sugar
Instructions:
1️⃣ Marinate steak with soy sauce, black pepper, and cornstarch for 10 minutes.
2️⃣ Heat oil in a wok, stir-fry steak until browned, then set aside.
3️⃣ Stir-fry garlic, onions, and bell peppers in the same wok until softened.
4️⃣ Add steak back in, mix in oyster sauce, sugar, and water. Cook until sauce thickens.
5️⃣ Serve hot with rice or noodles.
Notes:
Swap beef with chicken or tofu for a lighter version!
Adjust the spice by adding chili flakes or fresh chilies.
