"I made these for a family movie night, and my sister said, ‘These taste better than Reese’s!’ Watching everyone sneak extras was the highlight of the night."
Ingredients:
1 cup creamy peanut butter
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tbsp coconut oil (optional, for smoother melting)
Directions:
Prepare the Peanut Butter Mixture:
In a large bowl, mix the peanut butter, softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined and smooth. The mixture should hold its shape when rolled.
Form the Balls:
Roll the peanut butter mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Freeze for 20–30 minutes, or until firm.
Melt the Chocolate:
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using) in 20–30 second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth and glossy.
Dip the Balls:
Using a fork or toothpick, dip each peanut butter ball into the melted chocolate, coating it completely. Let the excess drip off and place the coated ball back on the parchment paper.
Chill and Serve:
Refrigerate the chocolate-coated balls for 15–20 minutes, or until the chocolate is set. Serve chilled or at room temperature for a delicious, no-bake treat!
