Chinese Chicken Cabbage Stir-Fry 🥬

Ingredients:

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced

4 cups cabbage, shredded

1 carrot, julienned

1/2 onion, thinly sliced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp oyster sauce

1 tbsp rice vinegar

1 tsp sesame oil

1/4 tsp black pepper

1 tbsp vegetable oil (for stir-frying)

1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Directions:

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced chicken breast and cook for about 5-6 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add garlic, onion, and carrot. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften.

Add the shredded cabbage and cook for another 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage wilts.

Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and black pepper. Stir everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
