Applesauce Cookies
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup sweetened applesauce
- 1 cup peanut butter (or any nut or seed butter)
- 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, sweetened applesauce, peanut butter, and cinnamon.
3. Stir the ingredients thoroughly until they form a consistent dough.
4. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
5. Flatten each cookie slightly with the back of a spoon or your fingers.
6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden and the cookies are set.
7. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
