No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars
Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups quick cooking oats
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
Directions:
1. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
2. Stir in the brown sugar and bring the mixture to a gentle boil. Let it boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
3. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract, oats, peanut butter, and chocolate chips until well combined.
4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Press down firmly to create an even layer.
5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until firm.
6. Once set, cut into bars and serve.
