Fried Wontons with Sweet Chili Sauce

Ingredients:
1 pound ground meat (pork, chicken or beef)
1 cup diced mushrooms
1/2 cup green onions
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon minced ginger
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 pack wonton wraps
Oil for frying
Water for sealing

Steps:
In a large bowl, add ground meat of choice. Add mushrooms, green onions, sesame oil, soy, garlic, ginger, housin sauce and black pepper. Mix well till combined.
In a clean plate, place one wonton wrapper at a time and add 1 tsp of meat mixture. Brush water on the sides. Fold the wrapper into triangle shape. Then, bring the corner into the middle. Seal with water. Repeat the steps until finished.

In a pan, heat oil and deep fry the wontons until crispy brown (about 4-5 minutes).
Drain on paper towels. Serve with sweet chili sauce.

Recipe Sweet Chili sauce:
1/4 cup sambal oelek
1/4 cup water plus 1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/4 cup rice vinegar
3 tablespoons sugar

In a saucepan pan, combine everything. Let it boils and simmers for 2 minutes until the cornstarch cook and the sauce thickens. Serve warm or cold. Store in refrigerator up to 1 week. Enjoy!
