Creamy Garlic Butter Steak & Shrimp Skillet

Ingredients
For the Steak & Shrimp:
2 filet mignon steaks (or sirloin/filet cuts)
10β12 shrimp (peeled & deveined)
Salt, cracked black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
Fresh parsley (chopped)
For the Cream Sauce:
3 tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves (minced)
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated parmesan
Salt & pepper to taste
Optional: pinch of crushed chili flakes or Cajun spice for a kick

Instructions
1. Sear the Steaks
Pat steaks dry, season with salt and black pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear steaks 3β4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Add 1 tbsp butter to baste.
Remove and let rest.
2. Cook the Shrimp
In the same skillet, add shrimp and season lightly.
Cook 1β2 minutes per side until pink and just cooked. Remove and set aside.
3. Make the Sauce
Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic. SautΓ© 30 seconds.
Pour in cream, stir in parmesan, season with salt & pepper.
Simmer until thickened, about 3β5 minutes.
4. Bring It All Together
Return steak and shrimp to the skillet.
Spoon sauce over the top and simmer 1β2 mins to heat everything through.
5. Serve Hot
Garnish with fresh parsley and extra cracked pepper.
Perfect over mashed potatoes, pasta, or rice!
