🍫 Chocolate Peanut Butter Layer Cake 🍫❤😋❤😋❤😋❤😋❤
Ingredients:
Cake Layers:
2 cups all-purpose flour 🌾
2 cups granulated sugar 🍬
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 🍫
2 tsp baking powder 🥄
1 1/2 tsp baking soda 🥄
1 tsp salt 🧂
1 cup whole milk 🥛
1/2 cup vegetable oil 🛢️
2 large eggs 🥚
2 tsp vanilla extract 🌿
1 cup boiling water 💧
Peanut Butter Filling:
1 cup creamy peanut butter 🥜
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened 🧈
2 cups powdered sugar 🍯
1/4 cup heavy cream 🥛
Chocolate Ganache:
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips 🍫
1/2 cup heavy cream 🥛
Instructions:
1. 🔥 Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line two 9-inch round cake pans.
2. 🌾 In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
3. 🥛 Add milk, oil, eggs, and vanilla to the dry ingredients. Mix until smooth. Stir in boiling water (batter will be thin).
4. 🍰 Divide batter between pans and bake for 30-35 minutes. Cool completely.
5. 🥜 For filling, beat peanut butter and butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar and heavy cream until fluffy.
6. 🍫 For ganache, heat cream until steaming, then pour over chocolate chips. Let sit for 5 minutes, then stir until smooth.
7. 🎂 Assemble cake: Spread peanut butter filling between layers. Pour ganache over the top and let drip down the sides.
