Creamy Paprika Chicken with Herb Rice ๐ฟ๐

๐ Ingredients:
For the Chicken & Sauce:
2 boneless chicken breasts ๐
1 tbsp olive oil ๐ซ
1 small onion, finely diced ๐ง
1 garlic clove, minced ๐ง
1 small red bell pepper, finely chopped ๐ซ
1 tsp sweet paprika
1/2 tsp dried herbs (basil, thyme, or oregano) ๐ฟ
Salt & pepper to taste ๐ง
150 ml chicken broth (about 2/3 cup) ๐ฒ
100 ml heavy cream or crรจme fraรฎche ๐ฅ
1 tsp tomato paste ๐
Fresh parsley for garnish ๐ฑ
For the Rice:
1 cup white rice ๐
Salt to taste
Optional: fresh parsley or butter for flavor
๐ฅ Instructions:
Cook rice in salted water according to package instructions. Meanwhile, season chicken with salt and pepper, then sear in olive oil until golden on both sides. Remove and set aside. In the same pan, sautรฉ onion, garlic, and bell pepper for 3โ4 minutes. Stir in paprika, herbs, and tomato paste. Deglaze with chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add cream and return chicken to the pan. Simmer covered for 10โ12 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and sauce thickens. Serve over rice and garnish with fresh parsley.

Add mushrooms or spinach for extra texture.
Use Greek yogurt instead of cream for a lighter version.
