Ingredients:
- 1 9-inch prepared refrigerated pie crust
- 1 standard-size box brownie mix
- 1/3 cup vegetable or canola oil
- 3 tbsp water
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup peanut butter chips
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Place the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish and set aside.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix, vegetable oil, water, vanilla extract, and egg. Stir until the batter is smooth.
4. Fold in the peanut butter chips gently.
5. Pour the brownie batter evenly into the prepared pie crust.
6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
7. Allow the brownie layer to cool completely before adding any additional toppings or serving.
