Halloween Rice Krispie Treats
Ingredients:
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 4 cups mini marshmallows
- 3 tablespoons butter
- Orange food coloring
- Black decorating icing
- Candy eyes
- Halloween-themed sprinkles
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
2. Add the mini marshmallows and stir continuously until completely melted and smooth.
3. Remove from heat and add a few drops of orange food coloring to achieve a bright orange color. Stir well.
4. Gradually add the Rice Krispies cereal, stirring until well coated with the marshmallow mixture.
5. Using a buttered spatula or hands, press the mixture evenly into a greased 9x13-inch baking pan.
6. Allow the treats to cool and set for about 30 minutes.
7. Once set, cut into squares. Decorate each square with candy eyes, black icing to create spooky faces, and sprinkle with Halloween-themed sprinkles.
